The Wimbledon 2009

Wimbledon is considered the most prestigious tournament in the world. It has been held in London since 1877. It is one of the four Gram Slam tournaments and probably the only one playing on grass courts.

This year Wimbledon will play from 22 June to 5 July. Five major events, four junior events and four invitation events will be played.

Wimbledon's traditional are eating strawberry and cream, royal patronage and strict dress code for the competitors.
