Siena were facing an uphill battle at the San Siro after their keeper Gianluca Curci saw red for hauling down Boriello in the box, and Ronaldinho was once again on target for Milan from the spot. The Rossoneri doubled their lead with a spectacular second from Marco Boriello, the striker hooking a volley in from an acute angle that flew high into the near post.
In the 71st minute the renaissance of Ronaldinho continued as the bucked-tooth wonder launched himself into a header from a Beckham corner. Ronaldinho stole the headlines with a goal that rolled back the years, Dinho wiggled his hips to gain an extra yard on his covering defender and, from the top left hand of the box, rifled a piercing strike into the opposite top corner.
