It took Goran Pandev just 11 min to show his worth at new club Inter Milan after joining from Lazio on a free transfer earlier in the week, as the Macedonian forward teed up Super Mario Balotelli for a shot that was said to have crossed the line, with Pandev on hand to head in the rebound just to make sure the goal stood.
In a bad-tempered match which saw no fewer than nine players booked, Chievo worked hard for an equaliser and had two penalty shouts waved away but the Serie A leaders hung on to grind out the victory.
